With ''Antiquity''
you'll find pictures of the monastery Toplou as well as
the excavation place Zakros and a hill grave close to Sitia. |

At "Mountains''
there are impressions from the Chandras plateau and the
mountains around Zakros and Xerokambos. |
|
''Beaches''
offers a selection of popular bays around Palekastro to
Xerokambos in the south. |
|
"Celebration''
is a series that's shows how people are celebrating in the
village. These pictures where taken at the end of September
2002. |

And "Village"
offers impressions from the village and the environment. |

Hiking
trails show some images from both the Kuroumes gorge
near Hohlakies and the "Valley of the Dead" at
Kato Zakros. |

Next step are the columns flora and fauna as well as series from
different localities like the municipality Itanos to which Palekastro
belongs.
All pictures were taken over many years using a Nikon F3HP, a
Nikon F100 and a Nikon D100 as well as a Rollei 35S. Both Nikon
MF and AF type lenses are used. I prefer Fuji Provia100F and
Fuji Velvia slide films. The scans were made with a Nikon slide
scanner Coolscan IV.
